SHIPPING METHODS

Deliveries are handled through DHL or DHL Express. All shipments that are sent by Mime et moi are insured against theft and accidental damage. Upon receipt of shipment and written acknowledgement, this insurance coverage ceases to exist. Please be aware that we cannot deliver to post office boxes outside of Germany. In case of partial shipments, shipping costs will be charged only once.

THAT´S HOW IT WORKS

Midi during the day, High heels in the evening, and later – Flats. You can change your Mime Heels without taking the shoe off. A couple of changes is all it takes to get used to switching it up. It’s easy, you’ll see!

With our step-by-step instructions, the heel change process is as smooth as can be. If you prefer video instructions, you will find them below the drawings. It’s important to us that you try changing your heels at home. That way you’ll feel confident before you step out onto your everyday catwalk, wherever you are.

Open the lever, press it firmly backwards until there is a gap between heel and shoe.

Slide off the heel.

Slide off the heel.

Slide the new heel onto the mechanism.

Now step on the ball of your foot and slowly shift your weight backwards until you hear the click.

Repeat this movement until there is no gap visible anymore.

SHOE CARE

Especially for you, Mime et moi shoes are made from high quality materials. We would like to give you some tips on how to take care of your Mimes, so you can enjoy them as long as possible.
Use a brush to remove dust and light staining from dirt of off your suede shoes. It is important that you brush the suede leather in one direction only so that the structure of the suede remains intact. Heavier stains can be removed with a rubber cleaning cloth, going over the affected area several times.
Smooth nappa leather can easily be cleaned with a brush and a damp cloth; the same applies for our smooth vegan materials.
Textile materials such as velvet and satin can also be treated, carefully, with a rubber cleaning cloth. You can also clean them with a sponge and a light solution of water and shampoo.
The mechanism itself does not have to be cleaned, as it is protected by the outer material and the heel. However, to protect the mechanism, the shoes should be stored with the flat heel on.
